EDGI's heritage is rooted in the provision of engineering services to the
petrochemical industry. Over the years our services have expanded
to include Automation, Project Management, Field Support, Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC),
and Systems Support.
EDGI engineers are qualified in the fields of Process Electrical, Mechanical,
Automation, Instrumentation and Control.
EDGI's engineering philosophy is to provide continued support throughout
the project. EDGI believes that it is in all parties' best
interest to have the same engineering team support:

- Detailed Engineering
- Procurement Assistance
- Construction Support (if required)
- Check-out and Commissioning

EDGI's Engineering is organized to perform two equally important functions:
- Perform conceptual and detailed technical design
- Provide technical information as a part of the project management team
We accomplish these two tasks by designating a Project Engineer
for each job. The Project Engineer acts as liaison between the project
team and the engineering team while also performing as an active
member of project management. This dual role ensures a continuous
information flow among all members of the project and engineering
teams, thereby ensuring that problems are solved, technical questions
are resolved, and technical misconceptions are promptly addressed.
